BAJO EL AZUR Studio

We are a creative studio based in Madrid dedicated to exploring the intersection between visuals, sound, design, literature and photography. We are passionate about creating poetic narrative experiences. We believe that what we communicate visually is as important as how we do it.

This desire to tell stories that trigger the imagination has led us to write scripts, short stories and stories for adults and children, make photographic projects, make stopmotion animations, conceive and design photobooks and books of various kinds, experiment in the fashion world with fashion films, and of course collaborate with other creators, artisans and visual laboratories.

We have a wide range in which to move because we are interested in inventing worlds where the visual and sound activate the magic that turns the ordinary into the extraordinary.

* The word “azur” refers to the optical thickness of the atmosphere, as well as the blue of the sky. We live thanks to stories, and all of them happen under the same azur.
